Diana Ser Posts Rare Pic With Husband James Lye And His Mini-Me, Who Just Turned 16
They really do look alike, don’t they?
There’s loads to celebrate for celeb couple Diana Ser, 50, and James Lye, 53.
Just two weeks earlier, it was announced that James was appointed the Global Head of International Banking for Standard Chartered Bank. The news prompted a wave of congratulatory messages from netizens after media outlets picked up on it.
Many reminisced about the fond memories they had of James' career-making role as VR Man in the 1998 drama of the same name.
And now, the couple’s oldest child, Jake, has turned 16.
James and Diana tied the knot in 2004, and have three kids together — Jake, Christy, 14, and Jaymee, 10.
On Oct 30, Diana took to her Instagram to wish Jake a happy birthday, adding some throwback photos of Jake as a child.
But of course, what grabbed everyone’s attention was James making a rare appearance in her post too. After all, James, who left showbiz in 2000, prefers to keep a low profile, and hardly ever appears on Diana’s social media.
"Our boy is 16. May you always find something to smile about, however dire the circumstances. We love you so much,” Diana wrote in her caption.
There were also netizens who commented once again on just how much Jake resembles James.
"Little James Lye. Blessed birthday to your boy,” one netizen wrote, with another adding: "Like father like son”.
