Is Chen Hanwei’s New IG Post A Response To Sora Ma’s Claims That She Was Bullied On The Set Of 118 II?

Workplace bullying has been on everyone's minds ever since Elvin Ng revealed last week on Mediacorp talk show The Inner Circle that he was bullied on the set of a drama by a veteran Taiwanese actor whom netizens quickly deduced to be Patrick Lee.

Following that revelation, Dasmond Koh waded into the fray by insinuating in a very public IG post that Elvin wasn't very nice to Noontalk Media artiste Angel Lim on the set Mediacorp drama Heart to Heart.

On Tuesday (Apr 13) actress Sora Ma became part of the conversation when she revealed in an interview with Shin Min Daily News that she was bullied on the set of 118 II.

The 37-year-old claimed that a veteran actor, whom she declined to name, treated her like she was "transparent" and would drop “one or two irrelevant lines [to their conversation] before saying, "I'm not talking about you, Sora Ma!" She also claimed that the atmosphere on set was weird.

Sora added that the situation did not improve after two months and that it took such a huge toll on her, she would cry in her car after work.

Among the artistes she claimed were aware of the bullying were fellow 118 cast members Elvin and Chen Hanwei, whom Sora said spoke to the veteran actor to mediate after she reached out to him for help.
