Look what got a very apt update for the new year. Terence Cao, who was in Bangkok with the rest of the Sibay Shiok team, posted this on the first day of the year.

Only this time, he's threatening Dawn Yeoh to sing a "new year song" instead of a Christmas carol.

Wonder if he'll do a birthday version as well.

We can practically hear the protests of Elvin's mum in our heads right now. After all, Elvin did share in an old interview with 8days.sg that she's not exactly the biggest fan of his choice of home decor.

"And mum's gonna threaten to pack her luggage and leave the house again!" laughed Elvin, revealing that he had to drive home with the top of his convertible down to accommodate his new buys.

James Seah and his influencer fiancée, Nicole Chang Min, had their Guo Da Li ceremony earlier this week. The traditional Chinese betrothal custom is typically done before the wedding, and judging from the picture-perfect set-up, James and Nicole must have spent quite a bit of effort on it.

The big announcement dropped earlier this week, revealing that the final episode of the long-running English-language drama will air on March 31.

"Thank you to each and every one of you who have been following our journey for the past 3 1/2 years." KIN star Carla D wrote on IG.

It's definitely going to be a bittersweet farewell.

While Shania remained brave for the first drop off of the week, the subsequent days were a little tougher, with Nurul taking to her IG Story to seek advice from other mummies in a bid to lessen the pang of their separation.

Allan, who revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 in America, shared on his Instagram that he's all better now.

In fact, he even managed to attend his niece's 100th day party in the States thanks to the unintentional delay in his travel plans.

Right now, Allan is back in Singapore, having touched down on Jan 6. And of course, he's back to his daily routine of exercising and keeping fit.

Look who's back in Singapore again, barely four months after she last visited Singapore for a holiday.

This time round, Sharon, who's based in Paris, is here for Esplanade’s Huayi Chinese Festival of Arts 2022. She will be performing in the opening play “Between You And Me”, which runs from Feb 11 to Feb 19.

Yifeng, who flew to China last year to be with her China-based daughter, Eleanor Lee, updated her IG with a picture of the two of them this week.

"Rushing to wrap up work before Chinese New Year [and] return home," she wrote.

So, is this a hint that mother and daughter are spending CNY in Singapore?

And here's the very sweet tribute from her son, Calvert Tay.

"Dear mum, thank you for always loving us two kids unconditionally. Forever leaving the best for us, even if it means that you'll have less for yourself, as long as we have enough, that's what's most important to you. Happy Birthday Mum!! Love you," wrote Calvert.
