Vernetta Lopez rescued a bat
"It’s 2:15 in the morning. I hear a weird screech. I look outside in the hall, and there’s a bat that my cat brought in. He’s ok, picked him up with a towel, and he climbed onto me. Up my neck down my back and now is comfortably hanging upside down," recalled the Gold 905 DJ.
"Messaged Acres and they assessed and recommended releasing it. Am letting it rest for a bit. I’m Batman’s nanny. But remember it’s best not to be as close to bats as I was. If they accidentally bite or scratch, it can be risky. I didn’t mean for us to get so close!," she added.
Aww, look at that little guy just casually hanging upside down on Vernetta. Just don't try it at home.

Qi Yuwu turned into a Frozen fanboy?!
"One of the changes I've made after turning into a dad is that I now know the names of many cartoon characters. I even know how to sing their theme songs," wrote the actor, who has a daughter Baby Qi, eight, and a son Qi Didi, six, with Joanne Peh.
"Then I realised, a part of me is the same age as my children," he added.
Who would have ever imagined seeing Ah Wu take selfies with Anna and Elsa right?
