Insta-Buzz: What The Stars Were Up To This Week
Here are some of our favourite snaps from the past week.
This week, some of our fave celebs spend quality time with their pals, kids and other halves.
Scroll on to find out which group experienced wakesurfing on a (rare!) sunny day, and which star paid her first visit to a golf course with her son and hubby.
Felicia Chin and Jeffrey Xu finally went on their honeymoon
If you don’t recall, these two lovebirds tied the knot at a lovely church wedding last October. Fast forward five months later, and they’re finally on their honeymoon trip in Japan.
“Finally travelling with YOUUUUU!” captioned Feli, complete with an aeroplane and heart emoji. The actress also shared shots of themselves grinning from ear to ear, having the best time during their getaway.
They also spent time in Osaka, snapping “mandatory shots” at the iconic Dotonburi - but don’t get them wrong though, according to Feli, both she and Jeffrey only went there “for some photos, and then walked to the less touristy areas”, because they preferred the “less crowded places of Osaka”.

Cavin Soh celebrated his son’s 12th birthday
And look at that mountain of donuts that stood in place of a cake.
“Kayden is a tweenager!” wrote Cavin.
The dad-of-two also had some sweet advice for his growing son: “You will soon realise you can’t reach the same note when you sing with mei mei, not being able to put your leg over your head like how you used to, trying to wipe the “stain” off your face but it’s actually a moustache, eating 2 bowls of rice and still feeling hungry… Papa has been through all this and [much] more.”
And if his message didn’t make you go ‘aww’, Cavin ended his post by reminding Kayden that he will always be loved by mum and dad, “no matter how big” he gets.

Joanne Peh showed off the notes she received from her kids
Seems like the actress’ kids, Baby Qi and Qi Didi, really missed her while she was in Australia filming the new Mediacorp drama Shero.
Joanne took to her stories to share the notes that she has been returning to every night since being back in Singapore, and revealed that they “never run out of note ideas”. How sweet!

987 DJ Natasha Faisal Caught A Viral Bug From Her Daughter
Speaking of kids, here’s one mum who hasn’t had it as easy in recent times. The jock shared that her daughter, Luna, has been sick for the past two weeks, and hasn’t been eating well.
“Luna was down for over a week with a viral bug and now it’s got to me. Motherhood isn’t about being perfect, or about doing everything right. What we see on socials can be daunting and can affect our mental health and confidence,” wrote Nat.
She then reflected on the trials of being a mum, admitting that “there were times [that she] doubted [herself]” as she felt like she "[hasn’t] done enough”.
The jock kept it real as she continued: “The Mom guilt is real especially when juggling multiple roles as a woman. But I’m about embracing authenticity - this is still, just a little sneak of what my real life is like.”

Kimberly Chia took her husband to watch a golf championship
And it seems like they also took their son, Kyzen along with them.
“Self-proclaimed best wife of the year by surprising my husband to watch a women’s golf championship! Enjoyed it myself fairly too!” joked the actress.
She then revealed that her husband has been asking her to join him in the sport “for the longest time”, and following the experience, she might just be ready to pick up some golf.

Joey Yung stopped by JJ Lin’s Miracle Coffee during her trip to Singapore
Man, we’ve lost count of the number of celebs who have been to JJ’s coffee booth at MBS to show the singer their support.
But of course, the Hong Kong diva, who was in Singapore these past few days for her concert, had to stop by for a sip of coffee, and of course, document the experience on her social media page too.

Paige Chua took a trip to Hogwarts
Who knew that the actress is a Harry Potter fan?
Paige, who is vacationing in Japan, stopped by the famous Harry Potter studios and revealed that according to the sorting hat, she belongs in House Gryffindor.
She even donned the classic red-and-yellow Gryffindor sweater and snapped a pic in front of the Hogwarts Express. And all we can say is that we’re very, very jealous.

Rui En penned a letter to herself (and other women) on International Women’s Day…
And here’s what it said.
“Dear ______,
Everything will be ok.
No matter how many times it seemed like your world was about to cave in on itself, it's always turned out ok, hasn't it?
I wish you spent less time beating yourself up in your head. I wish you didn't blame yourself for things not within your control. I wish you stopped comparing. I wish you stopped magnifying everything you felt was wrong about the way you looked. I wish you saw, felt and believed how beautiful you are.
But nothing worthy ever comes easy. You had to be broken and patched back many times over, for the lessons to be learnt. There is beauty in the broken.
On this day, when all the emails and posts are about female empowerment, look back at everything you've overcome, and know that your traumas, tragedies and experiences aren't just marketing copy but actual empowerment.
There may still be days you feel like a prisoner, but the truth when you want to see it, is that you are a warrior.
Love,
En”
It’s nice to see the actress lifting herself up in the well-worded letter, and we’re sure many other women out there would be able to relate to her experiences in their own way.

This group of celeb pals, who are also co-stars in the Mediacorp drama Fix My Life, spent their day enjoying the sun and sea.
Based on the stories they posted, the four of them definitely had a wholesome day getting used to the waves and soaking up the rare good weather amidst the rainy week that we had.
Catch them in Fix My Life on meWATCH, or watch an episode below.

Kiki Lim and Herman Keh shared their first ever dance cover together
Now, you might remember this duo from their viral TikTok last year.
Looks like they’re hoping to break the internet again with a dance cover of the song ‘Shooting Star’ on IG. The young stars have shed their comedic images to flaunt their dance skills in their first (and hopefully not last) dance collab.
