Insta-Buzz: What The Stars Were Up To This Week

Guess who was among the first few to drive into Malaysia the minute the clock struck 12 on April 1?

Mediacorp actresses Seow Sin Nee and Juin Teh. The duo even found the time to hold a short IG live together while waiting to make it across the Causeway.

Then, a couple of days later, they were joined by their fellow 4567 members, Gini Chang and Jernelle Oh, who took the bus into Johor Bahru. To top everything off, they ended their trip with a visit to fellow artiste Yao Wenlong's pao fan restaurant in JB, which reported a "20 per cent increase” in business after borders reopened.

Guess we can attribute a portion of the rise in business to 4567's visit as well.

Aiken, who was with Night Owl Cinematics shared on his IG Story that he started his company earlier this week. Wonder what new venture he has up his sleeve.

The couple, who tied the knot in January this year, finally found the time to jet off for their honeymoon. And of course their pictures are aesthetically-pleasing 'cos well, Nicole's an influencer worth her salt, okay.

Terence Cao, Dawn Yeoh and Tong Bingyu are also in the land of Hallyu, where they went live for Sibay Shiok, the e-commerce company headed by Terence and a couple of celeb pals.

Oh, and they also spoke about the scandal that saw local actor Xavier Ong accusing Sibay Shiok of owing him money. Kind of.

Oh dear, looks like this week wasn't exactly kind to our celebs. Remember Yasminne Cheng and her guacamole story?

As for Julie, she shared on her IG Story that she was hospitalised for a couple of days after feeling "severe pain" around her abdomen. Ouch! Thankfully, it seems like the star is now feeling better, and has been discharged.

Okay, so this didn't actually happen this week — Joanne and Yuwu posted their updates a week late, presumably to protect the privacy of their kids, but we still loved seeing the pictures from their vacation. One question though — were are the fit bod pics from 715?

On April 8, JJ took to his Instagram to share that he tested positive for COVID-19.

"At the moment, I am down with a mild sore throat, chills and headaches, keeping a positive mind and staying hopeful that the symptoms will subside soon," he wrote. Just the day before, JJ had updated his IG revealing that he's back home in Singapore.

The Ukrainian model, whose family lives in Kharkiv, shared that her apartment had been damaged by what appears to be a bomb earlier this week. Thankfully, it seems like her family was not injured by the damage.

Talk about being talented. Chen Xiuhuan's doctor daughter, Shanisse Tsai, recently held her first solo concert at the Esplanade Recital Studio. The 24-year-old's hour-and-a-half concert went off without a hitch, according to Xiuhuan, who was really proud of her daughter.

"I didn't expect you to be so funny or moving. You were being your lovable self and the audience loved you. We laughed and we cried with you. You expressed a whole lot of who you are on stage. Congratulations! Baby, I can see that you have really grown up," she wrote.
