Insta-Buzz: What The Stars Were Up To This Week
Here are some of our favourite snaps from the past week.

This past week, our stars were out for some fun in the sun with their family and friends. But more importantly, with the easing of COVID-19 rules, we’ll definitely be seeing a lot more reunions and gatherings.

Fann Wong sailed into the sunset with son Zed
The number of heart-eyes emojis in the comments sum up what we feel about this pic too. We have to say, we can’t decide what’s more stunning, the sunset or Fann’s long legs?

Zoe Tay, Pan Lingling, Jin Yinji, Jeffrey Xu & Felicia Chin went on an 8.5km hike…
… And celebrated their workout with a bak chor mee feast.

Xiang Yun chanced upon a pic of her late onscreen partner Huang Wen Yong on set
Xiang Yun and Huang Wenyong, who passed away from lymphoma in 2013, were one of local TV’s most iconic screen couples. The actress shared this IG story of herself next to an old cassette with the late actor’s pic on it while she was on location shooting upcoming drama, Your World In Mine.
“Wenyong is joining our performance too”, she wrote.

Chantelle Ng’s long-lost schoolmate texted her after eight years, Barbie-Hsu-style
Ever since Barbie Hsu’s sudden wedding announcement broke the Internet earlier this month, everyone has been wondering if their old friends (or flames) would reach out to them on their old numbers.
And that happened to Chantelle when she was travelling in London.
Her old friend, known as Gerald, texted her saying that he’s “trying his luck and hoping she hasn’t changed her phone number”. Sound familiar? Lucky for Gerald, the actress hasn’t changed her number since they were in school eight years ago and they even roamed the streets of London together. So cute.

Zhang Zhenhuan’s son Miro is now a “man”
The adorable two-year-old is definitely on his way to becoming the man of the house. The former Mediacorp actor posted a video of his wife, Sally Pan, asking Miro if he was afraid of spiders and the boy replied, saying he’s “scared” in the cutest way possible.
But when Sally asked “Who would protect mummy then?”, the munchkin suddenly manned up and said he wasn’t afraid anymore because he is a “man”.

Nathan Hartono got ‘high’… on coffee in the elevator
Everyone knows the singer loves Milo, but who knew he had a thing for coffee too. Nathan posted an IG story of himself vibing hard alone in the lift because he’s “put too many shots in (his) coffee”. We hope no one walked in on him ’cos it would have been really awkward.

Elvin Ng is home after his Swiss sojourn…
… And the first thing he did was to get his laksa fix.

Rui En was busy baby-sitting... or baby-eating?
In this week’s episode of what the actress calls “The Amazing Adventures of Odile and Funty En”, she can be seen stealing food from a baby?! We kid. Baby Odile clearly had no intentions of sharing her snacks with Rui En — the cheeky girl even pranked the actress by offering her a piece then putting it back in her mouth after Funty En leaned in for bite.

Edmund Chen, Xiang Yun & Chen Xi met with Hongkong actor Benz Hui
The TVB actor’s nickname is Foon Hei Gor, which in Cantonese means ‘Happy Brother’. It explains why Edmund wrote on IG that he “saw happy again” when he and his family snapped a wefie with Benz.

Chen Xiuhuan received honey from an anonymous hunny?
So sweet, but Y U NO leave name? Xiuhuan posted an IG story asking who her secret Santa is. “May I know who sent me this HONEY. You are so thoughtful. Thank you so much but there is no name on it. Really want to thank you for the love”, she wrote. We wonder if the actress dared to drink this anonymous gift though. Sure it’s a good way to leave an impression, but remember to leave your name next time.

The stars got all hyped up after PM Lee announced the easing of COVID-19 regulations
Just like everyone else, the celebs were super excited about the increased social group sizes, amongst the updated regulations. Some like Lee Teng made videos to celebrate the good news, while those like Sonia wondered if they even have enough friends to max out the new 10 pax rule.

But Shawn Thia only cared about PM Lee’s fashion
The Internet loves PM Lee’s choice of pink shirts but when he addressed the nation on Thursday (Mar 24), he had a different OOTD — a blue jacket.
And Reunion star Shawn Thia apparently dug his style too, asking “PM where did you buy your jacket?” Well, we think it would look good on you too, Shawn.
