Grab Driver Dresses Up As Santa Claus & Decks Car In Festive Christmas Lights

It looks like you won’t have to head down to Orchard Road to enjoy the Christmas lights this year. You can do so on the journey there.

A Grab driver has decided to bring festive cheer to his passengers by dressing up as Santa Claus.

In a video posted to Wake Up Singapore's Instagram, passenger Khaled Mohsen was in a PHV fully decorated with holiday lights.

The driver was also seen ringing a bell and asking Khaled in Malay if he thought he was "gila" (crazy)?

Khaled described the driver as “super-friendly” and was told that he just wanted to “make people’s day a little better.”

The driver was also heard wishing the passenger a "Merry Christmas".

What’s next?

Will he change into Cai Shen Ye (the God of Fortune) for the Lunar New Year after December 25?

8days.sg has reached out to Khaled for an interview.

Of course netizens were amused by the driver's festive effort.

“That’s so awesome! My kids would love to be in there!” one comment read, while another said, “We need more of such drivers around.”

However, we know at least one person who said they would probably get off if faced with the flashy decorations.

But with it being tough to get a ride these days, it might just be worth it!

You will definitely feel the Christmas spirit in this ride.
