987 DJ Germaine Tan Accidentally Cut Her Real Hair Instead Of Wig For Shoot With Avantgardey

Having to make last-minute changes to your costume on set is extremely common, but let this be a precautionary tale to be extra careful next time you have to do that.

987 DJ Germaine Tan shared on Instagram on Feb 3 that she had a shoot with viral Japanese dance group Avantgardey, who's here to promote their live shows on Mar 11-12.

For their video, the 29-year-old jock disguised herself as a member of the mysterious, uniformed group, donning their iconic bob wig and blue pinafore while dancing among them.

The final dance? Flawless. Career milestone? Certainly. But it was also the same moment Germaine made a careless — but to be honest, pretty hilarious (sorry!) — mistake with her styling team.

Sharing a separate video, Germaine, who just got home from her shoot, lamented: "When I was wearing the wig earlier, there was a piece of hair that was just hanging out. So I told my colleague to just cut it out because we wanted the bangs to be straight," she explained.

"So tell me why, it was my actual hair that we cut off? What in the actual f-," grieved Germaine.

She then proceeded to show the camera a stray piece of short fringe dangling on her forehead, looking very out of place.

"No, because this is lowkey tragic," the jock then captioned, before tagging celebrity stylist Gene Niu with the message: "Please send help". 

Many have since flocked to the comments to show sympathy, while others laughed that it's finally time for Germaine to "join the bangs club".

Germaine's reply? "I might have to," she whined with three crying emojis.
