Felicia Chin Surprises Husband Jeffrey Xu In KL With His Mum; Shares Unexpected Touching Family Moment
The surprise visit was meant for Jeffrey, but Felicia ended up walking away with a memory she says she will treasure forever.
Long-distance relationships are never easy.
Which is why local actress Felicia Chin, 41, recently decided to do something extra sweet for husband Jeffrey Xu, 37, while he is in Malaysia for work.
She brought his mum for a surprise visit.
Not surprising since Felicia have shared how close she is with her mother-in-law.
Jeffrey has been based in Kuala Lumpur since April, filming drama thriller Chilli Crab Flower Club, and is set to return in July.
“It's been a long time since I last saw a rainbow. Today I saw two, and then I realised they were actually them.” Jeffrey wrote on IG, thanking Felicia for the surprise and sharing a photo of the trio together in front of Kuala Lumpur's Petronas Twin Towers.
The couple, who dated for seven years before tying the knot in 2022, has never been shy about sharing glimpses of their relationship online.
But it was Felicia's account of a seemingly ordinary breakfast that really tugged at the heartstrings.
"One morning, I woke up, and as I entered the dining area. I saw my mother-in-law and my husband sitting at opposite ends of the table having a normal conversation. They turned, saw me, and smiled," wrote the I Do, Do I actress.
“This image was so beautiful to me. Very simple, very peaceful, and a sense of contentment. Maybe, it’s a knowing that such an image is possible for my family. And it’s getting nearer and nearer. It's a moment I will treasure deeply in my heart,” she added.
