Celeb Couples Felicia Chin & Jeffrey Xu And Nick Teo & Hong Ling Are Working Together For The 1st Time Since Getting Married

Come next year, two of local showbiz’s most beloved couples will be starring in Mediacorp dramas together for the first time since they got hitched. Will their real-life chemistry translate to reel life?

Nick Teo, 36, and Hong Ling, 31, will be sharing the screen in the upcoming crime drama No Other Way. 

Nick plays a CID Major Crimes Unit Investigator, while Hong Ling takes on the role as a prosecutor with a troubled past. They begin working together on criminal cases, and in the process, heal past wounds while figuring out just how much they mean to each other.

The 20-episode drama also stars Yvonne Lim, Zhang Zetong, Sheryl Ang, Pierre Png, Guo Liang, and Cynthia Koh. 

Hong Ling and Nick dated for eight years before getting engaged in August 2022, and officially tying the knot in December 2023. 

Fans of the pair have witnessed their relationship grow as they navigated life’s challenges together such as the loss of loved ones and a miscarriage, making their bond all the more touching. 

They've previously worked on both seasons of 118 (2014, 2016) and Fix My Life (2023) together. 

Will we get the chance to catch some swoon-worthy scenes between the pair? Guess we’ll just have to tune in to find out.

Felicia Chin, 41, and Jeffrey Xu, 37, are set to act together in the upcoming multi-generational series Brighter Days. 

Feli left Mediacorp in 2022, stepping away from showbiz to work with a local non-profit faith-based organisation, Hai Hao Ma?. She returned to acting the following year, starring in I Do, Do I?. 

Two years on, Feli has now taken on dual roles as mother and daughter in this upcoming drama, where she stars opposite Romeo Tan. 

The story follows Felicia’s character, Fang Yi, who grew up with four neighbours. Jeffrey plays the role of one of the four boys, and is also Romeo’s brother. 

Feli and Jeffrey celebrated their third wedding anniversary earlier this month, and this will mark their first on-screen collaboration as a married couple. 

While they are not playing a romantic item in this drama, but maybe this means we’ll get the chance to see them as an on-screen couple next time?

The 30-episode drama also stars James Seah, Sheila Sim, Priscelia Chan, and Mei Xin. 

Before marriage, Feli and Jeffrey had worked together on Life - Fear Not (2015) and Life Less Ordinary (2017).

No Other Way is scheduled to air in July 2026, while Brighter Days is set to air in August 2026, on Channel 8 and mewatch.
