Fann Wong Says Her Son Zed Is So Scared Of Desserts, He “Runs Away At Birthday Parties”

Raise your hand if you’ve never thought that you’d ever hear of a kid who would willingly pass up the chance to have desserts. After all, don’t kids usually jump for joy whenever something sweet is involved at meal times?

Well it couldn't be more untrue for Fann Wong and Christopher Lee’s seven-year-old son Zed. Instead of jumping for joy, Zedzed does just the opposite. He runs. Far, far, away.

Fann revealed this little quirk of her son earlier this week, when 8days.sg caught up with her before the filming of an episode of upcoming Mediacorp baking contest, Crème De La Crème.

On Crème De La Crème, award-winning pastry chef Janice Wong (of 2am: dessertbar fame), as well as Fann and fellow actress-slash-baking-extraordinaire Jeanette Aw, serve as resident judges. A new guest judge will join the panel every week.

And well, when it comes to injecting some star power, no one brings more of that than Fann. After all, the 50-year-old has been sharing tantalising snaps of her bakes on her Instagram for the past year, and they’ve pretty much gotten rave reviews from anyone who’s tried them.
