Desmond Tan Shares Shirtless Poolside Pics "As A Reason To Watch [His Drama] Strike Gold"

It's been two weeks since the debut of Mediacorp drama Strike Gold so have you tuned in already?

Well, if you have not, maybe this post from Desmond Tan, who plays the materialistic social climber Liu Guangming in the show, will make you want to do so right away. 

Yesterday (Jan 31), the 36-year-old took to Instagram to share some  pics of him shirtless while filming a scene for Strike Gold. 

"Will this be a reason for you to watch tonight's episode of Strike Gold?," asked the actor, hinting that he would be baring his bod in the show.

He went on to say that "this is just one of the many reasons to watch the show" and asked his followers to join him in catching up on the episodes now that he's finally back from being an international fashionista in Europe.

Desmond also gave a shout-out to his co-star Cheryl Chou, who also had to get bathing suit ready.

"Big shout-out to my exercise/diet buddy [Cheryl Chou] who made the prep for this scene less lonely - encouraging one another and keeping each other in check for months," wrote Desmond.

And guess what the duo did once they were done shooting that scene?

"After months of clean diet, the first thing we did right after the shoot of this pool scene (sic) was to stuff our faces with burgers and fries! Hahaha!" shared the actor.

Oh yes, that's Desmond's other on-screen partner He Yingying and their director "enjoying their 'cheat meal'" with them.
