Caucasian TikToker Takes Pic With Desmond Tan Not Knowing Who He Is; "He's Jackie Chan from AliExpress," Netizen Tells Her

If you're a Singaporean, you'll probably not have any problem recognising Mediacorp actor Desmond Tan.

But what if you're not a local?

Earlier this week, Caucasian content creator Isabelle, who calls herself "that ang mo girl from TikTok", shared on Instagram a video of herself going up to the 38-year-old star in a mall.

In her video, Desmond was surrounded by a crowd, and was chatting and taking selfies with them.

Isabelle also approached him for a picture, but captioned: "POV: Took a pic with some famous guy 'cause everyone else was... still don't know who he is."

She also added in her caption that some people told her the person she'd taken a photo with is Jackie Chan and asked if that was true.

While some netizens were kind enough to inform Isabelle that the "famous guy" she met was Desmond, others were quick to troll her.

"That's Ip Man", "No. That's Bruce Lee," teased some while one mocked: "Jackie Chan from AliExpress".

"Woah is there such a thing?," asked Isabelle in response to the latter.

She even replied to a comment exclaiming: "He is JACKIE CHAN" that the star "looks younger than in the pictures".

Is she for real, or did she just do an Uno reverse on the trolls?

At least she knows he's "some famous guy"...

Of all people, why Jackie Chan? Look like meh?
