It’s not every day that you cross paths with a missing pet.

Desmond Tan was his driving home with his two dogs, Hoshi and Udon at about 11pm on Thursday (Jun 11) when he spotted a black dog roaming the area near the Kent Ridge Bus Terminal. The dog lover's first instinct was to try to get close to the pooch, and then bring it to safety, as she was all alone in the darkened terminal. Her crossing the roads also worried him, as she could get hit by the cars speeding by.

After Desmond posted photos of the dog on his Instagram Stories, his followers sent him posters of a Singapore Special named Puffin, who has been missing since April 7. In the posters, Puffin was described as "very shy" and "extremely wary", and members of the public were advised not to chase her in the event that they see her, and instead call two designated numbers.
