Here's How Desmond Tan's Celeb Pals Hid His Wife & Daughter's Faces At The Baby's 100th Day Party

Just like that, it's been a hundred days since Desmond Tan became a dad.

The 37-year-old Mediacorp actor and his 35-year-old wife, who was his university sweetheart, announced the birth of their daughter in March this year. 

Yesterday (Jun 9), Desmond threw a Safari-themed 100th day bash for his kid. In attendance were his showbiz pals like Felicia Chin and Jeffrey Xu, Carrie Wong and Chantalle Ng, all of whom wasted no time in sharing pics from the happy occasion.

Of course, all the uncles and aunties duly covered the faces of Desmond's daughter and wife — as per the very private actor's request, we assume — with stickers in the photos posted on social media.

Carrie Wong

She covered Mrs Tan and Baby Tan's face with the same pink flower emoji in one pic and used another baby sticker to hide the real baby in the second pic. 

But what made up for it was Carrie's flustered expression when carrying her the infant.

Zhang Zetong and Sheryl Ang

We love how the stars put in the effort to give mummy and baby matching stickers.

Big heart and small heart? Aww... it's all in the details man. 

But what's with the awkward cropping of Mrs Tan and the weird poll, Zetong? 

"We found a baby in the forest!", he wrote on top of a poll which asked: "Whose baby is it? 1) Sheryl and Zetong 2) Sheryl and Desmond Tan 3) Desmond Tan and Zetong. 

We wonder how Mrs Tan feels about option 2, honestly.

Felicia Chin and Jeffrey Xu

Feli loves flowers and we can definitely see it from these photos. We mean, there's not one, but three flowers used to cover the baby's face.

Feli and Jeff, who tied the knot in 2022, also took this opportunity to update everyone on their baby-making progress. 

"Thank you for having us and blessing us with baby dust," wrote Feli. She and Jeffrey also assured everyone that they're "currently working hard" to make a baby. 

Jeffrey reposted Feli's pic of him gazing lovingly at the baby, writing: "Wait for our good news."

Fun fact: Did you know that Jeffrey proposed to Feli at the Night Safari? Maybe this Safari-themed party is a sign?

Then there's Miss Singapore Universe 2016-turned-Mediacorp actress Cheryl who didn't have any censoring to do because she had no pics with the baby to begin with.

"Selfie with only Papa Tan because I carried Baby Tan and she cried immediately," Cheryl lamented, adding that she was "too scared to hold [the kid] again".

"I think Papa Tan will think twice about accepting any future babysitting offers," joked Cheryl.

Likewise for Chantalle, there was no picture of baby and mummy.

Guess a pic with her All That Glitters co-star — they won Favourite CP at the recent Star Awards — would suffice.
