Christopher Lee, 52, has been spending a lot of time in Taiwan in recent years and it's become a second home to the two-time Golden Bell Award winner.

He's sure dressing that way.

Chris was recently spotted at a convenience store along Keelung Road in Taiwan casually dressed in shorts and slippers.

Considering how famous he is there, we weren't too surprised his choice of outfit turned heads.

And it seemed Christopher also spotted people sneaking a few shots of him and hurriedly left after finishing up at the cashier.

We can't help but wonder if the trigger-happy passersby were bemused by Chris' dressed down look while the weather was chilly or if they couldn’t fathom a star looking so casual?

When asked by reporters about his choice of outfit, Chris said in a statement via his management: “Just got off work and was withdrawing some money.”

Christopher is said to have hurried away when he saw someone photographing him in his casual outfit.

It seems the Taiwanese aren't too used to seeing celebs dress down.
