Chantalle Ng Among Local Stars Paying Tribute To Loyal Fan Who Passed Away
Last night, Mediacorp actress Chantalle Ng took to Instagram to mourn the passing of a loyal fan, Jasper.
"Today ended with heartbreaking news. Jasper passed away peacefully. He has been a constant in my fanclub," wrote the 30-year-old actress.
She shared that Jasper, who was 34 years old, was a "familiar face" she always looked out for at events, and that he would always be holding her name board and a photo for her to sign.
"It feels unreal to know we won't see Jasper in the crowd anymore, but the warmth and support he showed lives on in all of us," she added.
"For everything, Jasper. Fly high and rest well."
Chantalle also directly mentioned her fanclub, saying: "We have one less member here with us, but Jasper's spirit will always remain part of our family."
The Emerald Hill star wasn't the only celeb who has felt Jasper's love and support over the years.
Reposting a tribute post for Jasper, who was also an avid supporter of local professional football team Lion City Sailors FC, Mediacorp actress Tay Ying wrote: "Very saddened to hear about the passing of Jasper, someone who was always so warm, and supportive of us and the media industry."
She also shared three group photos she'd taken with Jasper in it, writing: Thank you for being such a huge part of Tay Ying Fanclub, you will be dearly missed."
Meanwhile, 987 DJ Germaine Tan similarly left a message for Jasper in her InstaStories.
"You will be so missed. Thank you for always being so kind and respectful when you come to support me at events," she gushed.
"You always showed up with these super cute printed photos of us & would take the time to make fan boards. I'll never forget your spirit & soul."
