Ex Mediacorp Stars Carole Lin And Joey Swee Just Showed Us What It Means To Be An Awesome Neighbour

When it comes to neighbours, sometimes you meet the sweetest people, like Felicia Chin’s neighbour who paid it forward by gifting her some pastries earlier this year.

Or you get neighbours from hell, who start drilling works at all hours of the day, or who litter the common areas.

Luckily for former actress Carole Lin, 48, when she moved to a new place recently, there was absolutely no need to worry about who her neighbour would be. You see, it's fellow former actress Joey Swee, 44.

Last week, Carole took to her Instagram to share a picture taken with Joey, imploring for the latter to “please be [her] neighbour forever”.

In her caption, Carole shared that Joey went above and beyond for her after finding out that Carole was moving in.

Apart from “offering help and advice during the renovation process”, Joey even came over with a pitcher of refreshing iced yuzu sake when Carole was cleaning up the place alone.

"You made so much, but we loved it so much so we ate so much and there’s still enough for my supper and breakfast (sic)," wrote Carole.

As it turns out, she had been so busy with moving and unpacking that she’d forgotten to set up her account with the gas supply company, leaving her family unable to cook for the time being.
