S’pore Bride Throws Labubu Doll For Bouquet Toss Because She Left Wedding Flowers At Home

While most brides traditionally have a bridal bouquet toss, content creator Zina Ng threw something a little different during her wedding banquet dinner on November 22.

In a video posted on her Instagram account, the 25-year-old was seen tossing a Labubu doll to a group of about seven people.

One lucky guest caught it and jumped for joy, gleefully showing off his prize as the crowd cheered him on.

The guest even took to the comments, writing, "It was a very cute Labubu."

One netizen left this comment: "Labubu lasts longer than a bouquet" which we wholeheartedly agree with.

When 8days.sg reached out to Zina, who used to work at SGAG as a content executive, about her 'Labubu toss', she said it wasn’t planned.

“We left the wedding bouquet at my husband’s home during the morning tea ceremony,” Zina explained.

“Our emcee then suggested that we throw a Labubu instead since we were giving them away as prizes,” she added.

Did her mistake just create a trend?

Replacing the bouquet toss with a Labubu doll is an ingenious idea.
