Blackpink's Lisa Tries Kaya Toast, Chicken Rice At SG Fan Meet

Singaporeans all love a good kaya toast or a hearty plate of chicken rice, and we think we can safely say that Blackpink's Lisa does too.

The 27-year-old Thai K-pop singer was in town last night (Nov 11) for her Lisa fan meetup in Asia tour at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and she was treated to some of our local delicacies on stage.

According to a video posted by a fan on Xiaohongshu, Lisa was first given kaya toast with soft-boiled eggs and her eyes lit up when she took her first bite.

"So good. Sweet... and salty, that's it," was how she described it.

The star was then served a bowl of Hainanese chicken rice, which we could tell is a dish she's familiar with.

How do we know? Well, the first thing Lisa said when looking at the dish was: "Do you have the sauce?"

She knows chicken rice tastes best when eaten with two sauces — spicy garlic chilli and dark soy sauce.

That prompted the host, who was surprised by how well Lisa knows chicken rice, to ask: "Do you want to stay in Singapore forever with us?"

While that question obviously got her fans shouting: "Yes!", Lisa simply gave a look of surprise before turning her attention back to the chicken rice.

Guess that's a no from Lisa, but please feel free to fly over to eat kaya toast and chicken rice anytime you want!
