Korean Stars Bae Yong Joon, Park Shin Hye And Their Families Spotted On Disney Cruise In Singapore

Former Korean actor Bae Yong Joon, who relocated to Hawaii with his family years ago, recently made a rare public appearance at Changi Airport with his wife, Park Soo Jin, and their two children. Travelling alongside them were actress Park Shin Hye, her husband actor Choi Tae Joon, and their four-year-old son.

Now, in case you haven't done the math, that's a pretty star-studded holiday group to spot in the wild.

The group was first spotted on the evening of Jun 7, when a netizen reportedly recognised Shin-hye, 36, at Terminal 4. The actress, who recently announced that she is expecting her second child, was dressed casually, with her baby bump visible as she pushed luggage and a folded stroller. Following close behind was Tae Joon, who was pushing their son on a trolley, where the four-year-old sat atop a suitcase.

Yong Joon, meanwhile, was dressed in a baseball cap and face mask, with a backpack slung over his shoulders as he pushed luggage. At one point, he reached back in an attempt to hold his eight-year-old daughter's hand, only to be completely ignored as she marched ahead, engrossed in playing with her sleeves, leaving onlookers tickled. Beside them, Soo Jin was also seen walking with their nine-year-old son.

A day after their airport sighting, a netizen took to Xiaohongshu to share that they had bumped into the two celeb families aboard the Disney Adventure cruise.

According to the post, Tae Joon was spotted single-handedly looking after all three children at a water play area on Deck 19. Later, on Deck 17, the three adults were seen waiting nearby while Tae Joon continued entertaining the kids at the playground.

The netizen also couldn't help but gush about how good the stars looked in real life, remarking on their "tiny faces" and "slim physiques".

In photos shared online, a still-damp Tae Joon was seen with a towel draped over his shoulders as he attended to his son in a stroller. Meanwhile, Yong Joon appeared to blend into the crowd, sitting among fellow passengers and taking in the sights around the ship.

Some netizens also commented on Yong Joon's appearance. The 53-year-old, who rose to international fame as the Hallyu heartthrob of Winter Sonata, was seen sporting a noticeably slimmer frame and a full head of grey hair.

Some pointed out that he looked older, but considering Winter Sonata aired more than two decades ago, we'd be more concerned if he looked exactly the same.

It's perhaps no surprise that the two families appear to be close. Shin Hye and Soo Jin previously co-starred in the 2013 drama Flower Boys Next Door, while Bae Yong Joon is a major shareholder in Blitzway Studios, the agency that represents Tae Joon.

Vacationing together? It's probably nothing out of the ordinary for them.
