One of the first things that comes to mind when we think of Ayden Sng is that he’s a go-getter.

The 27-year-old may only be in his second year as a full-time actor, but he’s already got plenty under his belt. He landed his first leading role last year in Loving You seven months after he made the career switch.

The Raffles Institution and Duke University alum was a product manager in a consulting firm, where he was paid over $6K a month, before becoming a full-time Mediacorp artiste in May 2019.

While some have assumed that Ayden’s an overachiever who just wants it all, he revealed in this week’s episode of Quan Yifeng’s talk show Hear U Out that his drive to succeed comes from the immense pressure he's under because his family hasn’t been doing well financially in recent years.
