Aileen Tan Says Younger Artistes “Should Acknowledge The Older Actors And Actresses More”

8days.sg is at the press conference of new Ch 8 drama, Hello Miss Driver, where Aileen Tan plays the submissive mother of Carrie Wong's plucky bus operator. But that's not all there is to her character, who just so happens to be a mistress, which Aileen says is the first time she's tackling such a role in her illustrious 31-year career.

“I will try my best to be a good mistress!” the spunky 52-year-old actress proclaims as the rest of the cast, which includes Pan Lingling, Xu Bin, Ian Fang, and Chen Shucheng, cracks up. MIA today are Chen Liping and Elvin Ng, who is currently filming All is Well in Taiwan with Romeo Tan.

While everyone may be all smiles now, it wasn’t all fun and laughter during the shoot.
