Aaron Aziz Found A Huge Rat In His Hotel Room; Hotel Staff Claim The Rodent Came From His Luggage
When your hotel room comes with a special surprise…
Singaporean actor Aaron Aziz found a very unwelcome guest in his hotel room in Cambodia recently. According to Malaysian media outlet hype, the 46-year-old actor travelled to Phnom Penh last week with his wife, Diyana, and a friend to help with a mosque restoration project there.
However, when Aaron and his wife arrived in their room, they were shocked to discover a huge rat in there.
Aaron then posted a video of the rat on Instagram, and questioned if their room was “truly clean”. In the video, the rodent can be seen stuck in a glue trap, and looked to be fully-grown.
He added that hotel staff claimed that the rat came from the couple’s luggage.
Aaron subsequently deleted the video.
In a series of updates, he later shared that the couple requested for the staff to change the bedsheets and pillow covers after discovering the rat. However, he was still unable to sleep well that night.
The actor revealed that he was once infected with Leptospirosis, a bacterial infection that is usually spread through the urine of animals, including rodents, farm animals and dogs, which explains his apprehension.
The couple eventually moved to a new room in the hotel the day after, and the room has been, thankfully, rodent-free thus far.
