987 DJ Kimberly Wang Ran Into Scammers In Paris & This Is How She Dealt With It

987 DJ Kimberly Wang, who holidayed in Europe recently, shared on social media that “something super uncomfortable” happened to her in Paris.

The 31-year-old related the disturbing experience on her Instagram Stories, where she recounted that she was headed back to her hotel past midnight when she saw a couple waiting for the lift.

“Offered to let them go first (they alighted from a car right behind mine and walked through the lobby and arrived at the elevator first)”, Kim explained. “Now usually I’d take the next lift, no point to squeeze… But they insisted we enter first (very polite and nice) so after like two “it’s okays” I was like yeah sure fine. You have to tap your hotel card at the elevator to access the diff levels so k I tapped mine and asked which level and they said same. Okay (sic)”.

This time, Level 2 had noticeably more people around, from teenagers and tourists to older shoppers. More importantly, shoppers were actually interacting with the stalls, trying things on and making purchases, rather than simply browsing and walking through. There are still plenty of shuttered units, and Level 2 remains much quieter than the ever-busy ground floor, but the atmosphere felt noticeably livelier during our visit. Bugis Street is also hosting its “Somewhere @ Bugis Street” weekend events as part of its ongoing efforts to bring more activity to the area.
