6 Reasons Jesseca Liu Is Really Lucky To Marry Jeremy Chan
Be ready to fall head over heels in love with the totally regular, totally lovable Ch 8 actor-host.
We really like Jeremy Chan. He’s funny, he’s super sweet, and he puts the toilet seat down after he’s done, which he says he’s “never had a problem with ‘cos it’s not a boy girl thing but a general politeness thing.” Jeremy really is a regular guy. But while the Ch 8 actor-host may not look like a Duke or be as famous as an Ah Ge, sometimes, as we quickly realised after spending a day with him, regular is perfect. Like how he had turned up at the shoot carrying two boxes of Ah Mah Homemade Cakes, the uber-popular, uber-fluffy sponge cakes from Malaysia. He had queued for 30 minutes at the brand’s recently-opened shop at Bukit Panjang Plaza just so he could bring it to the shoot as a tea time snack for the crew. “I was eating bak chor mee and I saw a long queue outside the shop,” he said, as we stuffed our faces with the cakes. “So I very ‘auntie’ and joined the queue. The wait was okay lah, I just stand there and play my [handphone] game lor.” What’s not to love about that? [This story is an excerpt of the cover story in Issue 1399, Aug 7]
