1.9m-Tall Tyler Ten Subtly Height-Shames Desmond Ng, Who's 1.78m, In Street Challenge

When 8days.sg spoke to Mediacorp actor Tyler Ten in 2022, the shy star told us he wasn't the type to approach girls on the streets 'cos he's "worried about losing face".
Fast forward two years later, the 28-year-old seems a lot more confident of himself.
We mean, just look at how he went all out during a recent challenge to get girls to pick him over fellow Mediacorp actor Desmond Ng, 36, for a date.
In the video posted on The Celebrity Agency's Instagram, the actors were given 30 minutes to ask as many members of the public who they would rather date.
The person who finishes with the least votes will have to perform a pole dance at a bus stop along the busy Bugis Street.
Upon hearing the penalty, Tyler groaned before asserting, "I need to do my best."
Things were off to an even start when they each got a vote from guys they polled.
But when a lady they approached said she likes guys who are "handsome and tall", it piqued Tyler's competitive spirit.
"If you like me, please vote for me," Tyler chirped enthusiastically, to which Desmond interjected, "He's losing now, but actually more people want to see him pole dance."
Despite Desmond's efforts, Tyler managed to secure the vote, giving him the edge over Desmond.
Next, they approached three ladies and asked what they look for in a man.
"Handsome," one replied, which prompted the 1.9m-tall Tyler to ask: "Does height matter?"
Before she could respond, Desmond called Tyler out for trying to influence their decision.
"Stop leading people to take [height] into consideration!" exclaimed Desmond, who is 1.78m.
But since the ladies couldn't decide, Desmond proposed they face off in the best of three challenges to determine who gets the vote, which he eventually won.
If you're wondering, the guys were tied with two votes each after 30 minutes, so they both had to pole dance at the bus stop.
Though they received lots of judgemental stares from passers-by, Desmond and Tyler were good sports and completed the challenge.
"I don't dare to go to Bugis again," declared an embarrassed Desmond, while Tyler acted like it was normal to be grinding against a bus stop pillar.
"If you don't feel embarrassed, then it'll be the ones watching who will feel awkward," he grinned.
