Calling all zombie fans out there!

Netflix is offering a sneak peek at Zack Snyder’s zombie heist flick Army of the Dead this week in an interactive livestream event.

Army of the Dead follows a group of mercenaries (led by Dave Bautista) as they venture into a zombie-infested Las Vegas to recover US$200 million (S$265 mil) from a casino vault. (Think Train to Busan: Peninsula, but with better lighting.)

The livestream event will unfold on Netflix’s YouTube channel on Friday (May 14), 1am SGT, where fans will be able to “unlock the vault.”

Once unlocked, audiences will have a 32-hour window to watch the opening 15 minutes Army of The Dead— the same duration Bautista’s character and his crew have to carry out the lucrative and potentially suicidal mission.

Snyder and his actors Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder and Tig Notario are slated to appear at the event and share war stories from making the movie.

Army of the Dead premieres on Netflix on May 21, 3pm.
