TJ Miller Won't Work With "Mean" Ryan Reynolds Again Following "Weird" On-Set Deadpool Moment

T J Miller has vowed never to work with "horrifically mean" Ryan Reynolds again - and that means he won't be back in Deapool 3

Last month, Reynolds revealed that Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, which is slated to be out in September 2024.

The Silicon Valley actor, who portrayed bartender Weasel, a friend to the titular character in two Deadpool movies, admitted an incident left him convinced that Reynolds "hates" him.

Speaking on The Adam Corolla Show, Miller, 41, said: “As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me. But to me. As if I’m Weasel.

"He was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.’

“I just kind of listened and thought it was weird and then I got off stage because they were like, ‘Cut…?’ "

Miller suggested Reynolds singled him out because he was insecure.

He said: “That’s exactly why he said that. Because I’m not funnier than he is at all, right? And I haven’t been in more movies than him.”

The Ready Player One actor found the interaction "weird" and has no desire to return to the franchise, though he wants it to continue.

He added: “Would I work with him again? No. I would not work with him again.

“I sorta wish him well, because he’s so good at Deadpool, and I think it’s weird that he hates me.

“I don’t wish them any ill will. I think [Ryan] should make a Deadpool 3 and continue to make movies.

“I just think he doesn’t like me, and I thought it was weird how he expressed that.”

In the interview, Miller also drew attention to Reynolds' Twitter bio, claiming it might be indication of this alleged insecurity.

He said, "He’s really nice, but, I mean, his Twitter bio is ‘Showing you the parts of me that tested best in focus groups,’ and I am not sure he’s joking.

"I think that might be his real sentiment … I can’t really begin to make sense of it."

Per Unilad, old images of Reynolds' Twitter bio Miller referenced to no longer exist. Right now, his bio reads: "owner: @aviationgin - @MintMobile - @maximumeffort - @Wrexham_AFC."

It's not known when Reynolds changed his bio or if it had any bearing on Miller's comments. But if you're curious, here's what his old bio looks like (nothing ever gets scrubbed from the Internet).
