Taylor Swift Shares Snippet Of Re-Recording Of Love Story In Ryan Reynolds Ad
Ryan Reynolds plays Satan in a commercial for dating site Match.

There’s nothing like seeing Satan fall in the love to the music of Taylor Swift.
Swift, who is the midst of re-recording her first five albums, offered fans a sneak preview of one of the ‘new’ old tracks in a hilarious ad for dating site Match.
The 90-sec spot — directed by Swift’s best pal Ryan Reynolds — follows Satan (Aaron Reed) on a date with a woman named 2020 (Natalie Roy) he met on Match. The commercial features Swift’s ‘Love Story’, which was originally on her 2008 album Fearless, on the soundtrack.
Swift tweeted, “Okay so while my new re-records are NOT done, my friend @VancityReynolds asked me if he could use a snippet of one for a LOLsome commercial he wrote so... here’s a sneak peak [sic] of Love Story!”
She added, “Working hard to get the music to you soon!!”
As of Nov 1, Swift has been legally allowed to re-record her first five albums — Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, and 1989 — which Scooter Braun bought over in 2019 following his US$330 million (S$441 mil) deal with Big Machine Label Group.
Swift wasn’t too pleased when Braun recently sold her masters to the investment firm Shamrock Holdings for US$300 million without her knowledge.
“It's a shame to know that I will now be unable to help grow the future of these past works and it pains me very deeply to remain separated from the music I spent over a decade creating, but this is a sacrifice I will have to make to keep Scooter Braun out of my life," Swift wrote in a letter to the company, which she later shared on Twitter.
