Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield & Tobey Maguire Recreate Spider-Man Meme For No Way Home’s Digital Release
The highest-grossing movie of 2021 will be available on digital in March and on Blu-ray in April.
After conquering the global box-office — US$1.83 billion (S$2.47 bil) and change — Spider-Man: No Way Home is heading for home video: digital on March 22 and Blu-Raya and 4K UHD on April 12.
To mark the occasion, Sony Pictures dropped an imaged on social media Wednesday (Feb 23) of Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire recreating the iconic meme and pointing at each other in their superhero spandex.
The meme originated from ‘Double Identity', an episode from the 1967 Spider-Man animated series, where the Web-Slinger is impersonated by a villain named Charles Cameo. Holland, Garfield and Maguire previously recreated the moment in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The home video release of Spider-Man: Now Way Home — which is up for a Best Visual Effects Oscar next month — contains over 80 minutes of behind-the-scenes fun, 20 minutes with the three Peter Parkers, a a spotlight on hidden Easter eggs and a blooper reel.
