Netflix Unveils Colossal 2021 Movie Slate, Includes Movies Starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa And More
Netflix promises to release more than one movie each week.
Netflix has dropped a sizzle reel for its upcoming movie releases in 2021 — and it looks dynamite.
All in all, the streaming giant has 71 movies that roll out in the next 12 months — at least one for every week. The line-up consists of mostly original productions as well as acquisitions across genres, from action to rom-coms, musicals to family animation. (The number of releases might go up because you never know how many more movies Netflix might up acquire/announce, especially from Asia, as the year progresses).
Army of the Dead from Zack Snyder; and Look Don’t Up, the apocalyptic comedy from Adam McKay, headlined by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.
And those are just the movies. Can you imagine the series they have in store for viewers? They’d probably release another sizzle reel for that, but that’s another story for another time. Meanwhile, here are the movies coming to Netflix by genre:
