Marvel Finally Confirms The Full Cast Of Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings
The movie opens in cinemas on July 8, 2021.
The highly secretive Marvel Studios has finally revealed the full cast of the upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Marvel Studios’ Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige made the announcement on Thursday (Dec 10) at Disney’s Investor Day presentation.
Even though the production has wrapped and some of the actors were spotted on the set (hello, Fala Chen!), Marvel never publicly acknowledged that their involvement. (Not too long ago, 8days.sg asked this actor about it but was told not to mention “any of the Marvel stuff” in the story because “they get pretty weird about it".)
Officially, we only know that Simu Liu is Shang-Chi and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai is his nemesis, simply known as The Mandarin. Well now, we know The Mandarin also goes by Wenwu.
The rest of the cast includes Awkwafina as Katy, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, Michelle Yeong as Jiang Chan, Ronny Chieng as Jon Jon, Fala Chen as Jiang Li, and Romanian boxer Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist.
