Kevin Spacey Dedicates Latest Christmas Video To Those "Suffering" In 2020: "It Does Get Better"
For the third year in a row, the once-celebrated actor shared a Christmas video on YouTube.
It what has become a yearly tradition for Kevin Spacey, the disgraced Oscar-winning actor has dropped another Christmas-themed YouTube video.
It’s the third consecutive year Spacey, 61, has taken to YouTube to share his festive homily on to his channel. But unlike past editions — which sounded like he was channelling his creepy House of Cards character Frank Underwood — this year’s message is of a more serious nature.
Titled1-800-XMAS, the two-and-a-half-minute video — recorded in a public park — Spacey reaches out to people experiencing the holiday blues.
“If you’re standing in a place that you can no longer remain standing, if you’re suffering, if you need help, if you feel guilt or shame, if you’re struggling with your identity, if your back’s up against the wall, or if you feel that there is no path, whatever your situation, I promise you there is a path” he said.
“At this time during this holiday and beyond, even if you don’t feel it, there are people out there who understand and who can help, because you are not alone.”
He ended the message on a hopeful note: “So I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, a great 2021 and to all those who might be suffering, it gets better. It does get better. Happy holidays, everyone!”

The 2019 video saw Spacey, seated next to a fireplace, wishing his fans a Merry Christmas.
Prior to this year’s video, Spacey appeared in a virtual German business conference called ‘Bits & Pretzels’ in May where he spoke of his life has been upended since actor Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual advances on him when Rapp was just 14.
In September, Rapp and another man filed a lawsuit against Spacey, accusing him of sexual assault.
