Keanu Reeves will reportedly play John Wick in Ana de Armas' spin-off movie.

Reeves is set to reprise his hitman role in Ballerina, which is currently filming in Prague and is being directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld) and written by Promising Young Woman's Oscar-feted Emerald Fennell and Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead).

As reported by Collider, Reeves is on location but it's not yet known if he is simply making a cameo or shooting a bigger role. Either way, it marks a reunion for Reeves and the Cuban-Spanish actor, who last shared the screen in Eli Roth's 2015 home invasion thriller Knock Knock.

In Ballerina, Armas plays a young female assassin who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family. Her character first appeared in 2019’s John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum as a ballerina-cum-assassin trainee.

Meanwhile, it's been confirmed John Wick regular Ian McShane will also reprise his role as Winston Scott, the manager of The Continental Hotel.

In a statement, the franchise's producer Basil Iwanyk teased: "We’re thrilled to have Ian McShane joining us for a pivotal role in Ballerina.

"He’s been such an integral part of the franchise since the original John Wick. It’s been fun to have him on this journey as the Wick universe expands.”

Since launching in 2014, the Chad Stahelski-led John Wick franchise has led to three additional blockbusters — including a fourth one due in March — and two spin-offs.

In addition to Ballerina,  a prequel series called The Continental is also arriving next year.

According to reports, it will be a three-part action event series that explores the origin story and inner workings of the titular hotel, a sanctuary for assassins.

It's told from the perspective of young Winston Scott, played by Colin Woodell. The series — which also stars Mel Gibson and Ayomid Adegun (as a young Charon, who was played by Lance Reddick in the movies) — will follow Winston through the underworld of 1970s New York.

The Continental is slated to premiere in the US on Peacock and outside of the US (except Israel and the Middle East) on Amazon Prime Video.

John Wick: Chapter 4 will be out in cinemas in March 2023.
