Jurassic World 3 Is Now Called Jurassic World: Dominion
It started filming on Monday.
Judging from the new title for Jurassic World 3, the battle between humanity and dinosaurs promises to be one of biblical proportions.
Director Colin Trevorrow took to Twitter to announce the threequel’s first day of shooting as well as its official title: Jurassic World: Dominion.
Picking up where 2018’s Fallen Kingdom, helmed by JA Bayona, left off, Dominion will look at what happens after the dinosaurs have fled captivity into the rest of the world. In September, Trevorrow, who directed 2015’s Jurassic World and co-wrote Fallen Kingdom, offered a taste of things to come in the 10-minute short film Battle at Big Rock.
Pratt also chimed in via Twitter, referencing a classic line from the Steven Spielberg original.
