Ex-Bond Girl Olga Kurylenko Tested Positive For COVID-19

Quantum of Solace actress Olga Kurylenko has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The Ukrainian-born actress, 40, broke the news in an Instagram post on Sunday (Mar 15). She’s currently in self-isolation at home.

Kurylenko, 40, a French citizen since 2001, has been living in London with her son Alexander, four, and 31-year-old Argentinian actor boyfriend Ben Cura.

Following Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, Kurylenko is the latest Hollywood actor to be infected with COVID-19. “Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus. I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now,” she wrote on Instagram.

She added: "I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!"

At press time, it’s not known if Kurylenko was working on any production when she fell ill. According to Hollywood Reporter, she just finished The Bay of Silence, a thriller co-starring Claes Bang (Dracula) and Brian Cox (Succession).

Since last week, Hollywood has suspended most film and TV productions in a move to contain the spread of the virus.
