Eva Mendes Was Once Fired From A Part-Time Job At A Hotdog Stand After Giving An "Inappropriate Gift" To Co-Worker

Eva Mendes was once fired from a hotdog stand.

In an appearance on KIIS FM's Will & Woody radio show in Australia, Mendes shared that she once worked as a hotdog vendor before finding fame in Hollywood and that she was dismissed from her position after giving a colleague an "inappropriate gift" during the holiday season.

"I got fired from one place only, but it was a hot dog on a stick place," she said. "Oh God, this is bad too... I was a Secret Santa and I gave an inappropriate gift. I'm giving you guys way too much right now. You're like, literally this is the end of my day. But the good thing about getting fired is you get to collect unemployment [benefits]!"

Meanwhile, the Hitch actress has been in a relationship with Ryan Gosling since 2011 but has repeatedly fuelled speculation recently that they have in fact tied the knot and the revelation comes just days after she referred to him as her husband in an interview with Channel Nine's Today show

"Everyone is so welcoming here and my husband Ryan is here and we are having the best time," she said.

When asked to respond to rumours that Mendes and Gosling had secretly wedded on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the Ghostrider star said, "But who says we weren't already? I like to keep it all mysterious."

On the show, she also addressed rumours that the wrist tattoo she posted on Instagram was a big hint that she and Gosling had secretly gotten married. 

"I do have a tattoo," she said. "No, it's not a press-on. But I got it years ago. I posted a picture and I've gotten a lot of funny questions."

Mendes is currently in Australia with Gosling, who has been filming The Fall Guy, the latest movie from Bullet Train director David Leitch, in Sydney. — BANG SHOWBIZ
