Ed Sheeran Builds Forest On His Eco-Friendly Estate

Ed Sheeran has built a forest at his home.

The 'Shape of You' hitmaker and his wife Cherry Seaborn have planted dozens of trees around his Suffolk estate to make it more eco-friendly.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "He's spent tens of thousands of pounds on this project — and Cherry's involved too as she's into re-wilding and sustainability. A huge field where his outdoor wildlife pond is will become a dense wood in a few years and he's planted trees six deep around the perimeter to afford him privacy. It'll help reduce the carbon footprint of him being a touring rock star too."

Ed and Cherry announced the birth of their first child, Lyra Antarctica, last month and have stepped out of the limelight to spend time with their daughter.

It was reported earlier this year that Cherry, 28 had stepped down from her job at Deloitte to pursue green projects, with her LinkedIn page revealing that she is "working to create a self-sufficient living environment, aiming to produce sustainable energy, as well as all fruit and vegetables."Ed's property empire is now reportedly worth more than £60 million (S$105 mil) after he purchased two new properties during lockdown to add to his portfolio.

A source said: "Ed's had neighbours grumbling about noise so when he got a chance to buy up the houses next to his London home, he jumped at the chance." — BANG
