Demi Moore’s Unrecognisable Look At Paris Fashion Runway Sparks Plastic Surgery Rumours

The ‘Ghost’ star, 58, made her runway debut at Kim Jones’ Fendi Spring Summer 2021 on Wednesday (Jan 27).

Fans of Demi Moore did a double-take when they saw the Ghost star made her runway debut in Fendi’s Spring-Summer 2021 show at the Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris on Wednesday.

Instead of her outfit, everyone was fixated on the 58-year-old actress’s startling new look.  With her plump pout and extremely prominent cheekbones, Demi is barely recognisable.

Her face shape had many wondering whether she had gone under the knife to augment her cheeks, lips, and nose. Or maybe it’s just the make-up artist who's messing with their eyes.

One Twitter user said Demi “looks like she had a mask of someone else’s face”.

“I wouldn’t have thought that was Demi Moore without the headline,” one Netizen commented.

“Is that all bad fillers? Or is there some horrible contouring happening there also? That face just doesn’t look right but I can’t figure out if it’s all plastics or if the makeup artist was doing something odd.”

Another wrote: “The pressure these women must feel to remain young and current that makes them do this to their face is mad. Demi Moore was absolutely beautiful.”

This is not the first time Demi has been besieged by cosmetic surgery rumours.

Not too long ago: Demi Moore, posing with her memoir 'Inside Out, in an Instagram picture taken on Dec 15, 2020.

In 2003, it was widely reported that Demi had spent close to US$250,000 on plastic surgery to transform her face and body for her appearance in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle

In a 2007 interview with French Marie Claire, she refuted those reports, saying that she had “never” had any cosmetic surgery.

“I don't like the idea of having an operation to hold up the aging process — it's a way to combat your neurosis,’ the mother of three said then. “The scalpel won’t make you happy.”

But she also said she “would never judge those who have”, saying: “If it’s the best thing for them, then I don’t see a problem.”

Meanwhile, Demi is still reeling from her appearance on the fashion show. “Fulfilling a teenage dream,” she wrote on her Instagram. “Thank you @mrkimjones for having me open the @Fendi SS21 show and congratulations on a beautiful and magical debut.”
