Chris Evans Has Been Secretly Dating Actress Alba Baptista For A Year: "They Are Very In Love And Their Relationship Is Serious"

Chris Evans and Alba Baptista are "very in love".

The Avengers star, 41, and the Portuguese actress, 25, have been quietly dating for more than a year, and a source told Entertainment Tonight, "They are very in love and their relationship is serious. Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore Alba."

The couple has managed to keep their romance under wraps until now. But their friends and family have been aware of their burgeoning relationship for months.

Page Six ran pictures of them taking a stroll through Central Park Thursday (Nov 10). According to reports, they "held on tightly to one another as they made their way through the crowded streets while wearing matching sunglasses and face masks."

The daughter of an engineer and a translator, Baptista is currently starring in Mrs Harris Goes to Paris, a dramedy set in the 1950s fashion world, and the Netflix fantasy series, Warrior Nun. 

Baptista, who speaks five languages, won the Shooting Star award at the Berlin Film Festival in 2021.

Evans, who was named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive earlier this month, said that he's become more health-conscious than after turning 40. 

Speaking to People, he said: "In the good ol' days I could eat whatever I wanted, do a couple workouts per week and be okay.

"That is not the case anymore. If I have two beers, I wear it. I haven't had to play a role like Captain America in a while so things like diet and workout regimen haven't been on my radar. But getting older, things are clicking and sore and it's harder to wake up, you have less energy."

In July, Evans revealed plans of settling down. In a Q&A on the Shondaland website, the Lightyear star said, "Okay, good question. Thank you for a good question. My goodness. Laser focus — you know what? We’re gonna do this. I’m gonna give you a good answer. Maybe [I'm] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with." — BANG SHOWBIZ
