The live stream auction industry is huge in China. Celebrities are not only raking in the big bucks from their live stream stints, many have also seen their popularity surge after.
The latest to jump on the bandwagon is Chinese actress Zhou Xun, who recently made an appearance on online shopping host Wei Ya’s live broadcast, where she promoted a brand of electric toothbrush.
However, what got everyone talking wasn’t the eye-popping sales the 46-year-old generated, but her stiff behaviour and awkward interaction with the host.
