The lives of public figures are often considered fair game for intense — and often scornful — scrutiny, and many times, even their young offspring are not spared from criticism.

Just ask Faye Wong’s daughter Li Yan, Vicki Zhao’s daughter April, and Annie Yi’s daughter Milly, all of whom have been the subjects of not-so-nice remarks from netizens, who don't seem to care that they’re only kids.

Well, Apple Wang has had enough. The 14-year-old, who is the eldest daughter of Chinese rocker Wang Feng from his previous relationship with model Ge Huijie and the stepdaughter of his current wife Zhang Ziyi, recently took to Instagram to lambaste a Chinese report that made some pretty far-fetched allegations that were based on some selfies she took.
