Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, 42, may have been blessed with a blissful marriage herself (she wed Chinese rocker Wang Feng in 2015), but it turns out that many of her friends have not been so lucky in this department.

Recently, Chinese netizens pointed out that five former celeb couples who received congratulatory messages from Ziyi on their marriage and/or invited her to their wedding all had their relationships end in divorce.

This peculiar but amusing coincidence has dramatically been dubbed the “blessings curse of Zhang Ziyi”, which honestly sounds really unfair ‘cos it’s clear that the star simply has a very wide social circle.
