Zhang Ziyi Reportedly Pregnant With Second Kid
Her hubby Wang Feng has always wanted a son.
They’ve never wanted to stop at one. One child that is. Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi and her husband rocker Wang Feng, who are proud parents to three-year-old Xing Xing, have always talked about having a big family in their interviews. And while there has been a lot of talk over the past two years about Ziyi being pregnant again, this time round, it seems the rumours are legit.
Feeling breezy
Word is out that the 40-year-old actress is due to be a mum again in a few months and that she has even pre-booked a room at a postnatal care centre. She has also stopped work and it's said that she will make her last public appearance at the Cannes Film Festival next month.
The famous ladies of Wife’s Romantic Travel
This is good news for the couple who most recently expressed their desire to have a second kid on Chinese variety show Wife’s Romantic Travel. On the show, which takes celeb couples like Ziyi and Wang Feng and Anita Yuen and Julian Cheung on lovey-dovey holidays planned by the husbands, Ziyi had mentioned that she wanted two kids. “One to carry on each arm,” she said. Upon hearing that, Anita joked: “You’ll get pregnant once filming for this show is over.” A delighted Ziyi then replied, “I’m counting on that.”
Wang Feng, 47, then chipped in saying that he would do his best to accommodate his wife’s wishes, adding that it would be great if he could have a son to make it “complete”.
Lovely in Legoland
The couple were most recently spotted at the Beijing airport where reporters noted that Ziyi had spotted a baby bump. Last night, the actress posted a photo of David Beckham and his daughter sitting on a bench at Legoland California together with a pic of herself sitting on the same bench, her arms casually shielding her tummy. When a netizen asked why Xing Xing was not in the photo too, the outspoken Ziyi jokingly replied: “I’m scared she would outshine me.”

Fresh from the oven
Last month, Ziyi posted on Weibo these two photos of herself in the delivery ward after giving birth to Xing Xing. “On our journeys [in Wife's Romantic Travels], me and the other wives had talked about our experiences during pregnancy and I also shared with the production team these photos. December 27 2015 is the proudest moment of my life and I think it is also when I was the most beautiful,” Ziyi captioned this photo.

Meet the Wangs
Wang Feng with his 14-year-old daughter Apple, whose mum is the rocker's former girlfriend Ge Huijie, and Xing Xing and Ziyi. Wang Feng revealed in 2017 that he actually has another daughter with his ex-wife Kang Zuo Ru. The girl's name is Wang Jingyi and she is seven this year.
So three girls? No wonder he really wants a son.
