Fans Worried As Zhang Linghe Appears Unable To Stand On Set
Days after he was seen limping, the Chinese actor was seen in a new clip unable to stand. Could his condition be more serious than initially thought?
Chinese heartthrob Zhang Linghe has fans increasingly concerned after multiple reports of him struggling with mobility while filming his new period drama The Road To Glory.
The 27-year-old, whose popularity surged following hit series Pursuit Of Jade, was first spotted limping while heading to work last week.
In widely circulated videos, he appeared to be in discomfort even before getting out of his car, and needed support from his assistant as he walked with a noticeable limp.
As The Road To Glory features numerous action and wirework scenes, many fans feared he had sustained an on-set injury.
However, his team later clarified that Linghe was not injured, but experiencing a sudden leg muscle cramp.
Just as concerns were easing, a new clip surfaced a few days later, painting a more worrying picture.
While seated on the ground during filming, Linghe appeared unable to stand up on his own, and reportedly needed help from co-star Lin Yun and a staff member to get back on his feet.
There has been no response from Linghe’s studio regarding his condition, though some media outlets report that he has since gone to the hospital for a health check.
His repeated health scares have left fans concerned and frustrated, with many criticising his studio’s handling of the situation.
Some have called for his work to be suspended, urging that he undergo a thorough medical examination, and be given sufficient time to rest and recover.
