Zhang Linghe's Family Pic Goes Viral — Fans Say He Inherited The Best Genes From Both Parents

Chinese actor Zhang Linghe, who has been riding high on the success of hit period romance Pursuit Of Jade, is once again the talk of the internet.

This time though, it's not because of his latest role.

A family photo believed to be of the 28-year-old star and his parents has gone viral on Chinese social media, with many netizens marvelling at the family's good looks.

In the pic, Linghe stands between his parents. His father, who is reportedly 186cm tall, is nearly as towering as the 190cm actor, while many noted that his eyes and nose closely resemble his mum's.

Comments included: "Dad contributed the height, mum contributed the looks, and Zhang Linghe got both”, “His parents are remarkably youthful”, and “He won the genetic lottery”.

According to Chinese media reports, Linghe's father was formerly a civil servant, while his mother is a retired doctor. Linghe has previously shared that he inherited his fair complexion and height from his dad.  

Not everyone was amused by the photo going viral, though.

Some claimed the family photo is actually an old picture that was recently resurfaced by entertainment gossip accounts, and not publicly shared by Linghe's family themselves.
