Woman Goes Viral for Looking “More Like JJ Lin Than JJ Lin Himself”
It started when her friends pointed out her resemblance to the Singaporean pop star during a karaoke session.
You've seen JJ Lin's Malaysian impersonator and his viral Douyin lookalike — but have you ever met the 44-year-old singer's female doppelganger?
Enter Haru, a young woman who recently appeared on Taiwanese talk show Dee Girl's Talk and left everyone stunned by how much she looks like the Singaporean Mandopop star in real life.
Sharing the hilarious moment she realised she looked like JJ Lin, Haru recounted: “I found out about a year ago when I was at karaoke with my middle school friends. They were singing JJ’s song ‘Xiao Jiu Wo’ (Little Dimples), and the music video was playing on the TV.”
As fate would have it, Haru happened to walk past the screen to grab a drink and her friends immediately told her to stop. That’s when they noticed it: she looked uncannily like JJ Lin.
According to Haru, the resemblance gets even stronger when she dresses like him. “I actually look more like JJ than JJ himself,” she joked.
The talk show guests were in stitches, and even more convinced when Haru pulled off a spot-on impression of JJ — matching his mannerisms perfectly while lip-syncing to his hit ‘Jiang Nan’.
Netizens were equally entertained, with one writing that she looks “even more like JJ when she tilts her head downwards.”
Of course, one cheeky commenter had to ask: “Is it really a good thing for a girl to look like JJ Lin?”
