Taiwanese Celeb Ya Tou Mourns Passing Of Grandma, Who Died From COVID-19 Alone In South Korea
The singer-actress said her grandmother was immediately quarantined upon her diagnosis, and eventually passed on with no one by her side.
Taiwanese celeb Yako Chan, who is better known as Ya Tou, took to her Facebook on Monday (Nov 29) to share that her beloved grandmother recently succumbed to COVID-19.
The 33-year-old also revealed that her family was unable to see their grandmother before she passed away due to quarantine restrictions, and that the old lady had died with no one by her side.
“Life is just so impermanent, you’ll never know when it will attack you, catch you by surprise, and leave you filled with regret,” Ya Tou wrote.
